James D. Stephenson, Jr., 26, died December 30, 2011 in Richmond, Virginia. Jimmy was born in Savannah, son of David Stephenson and Veronica DeBorde. He attended St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School and Rockbridge County High School in Lexington, Virginia. He was employed by L.E. Meyers Construction Co.

Surviving are his wife Anna Hagy Stephenson of Wythville, VA; mother Veronica DeBorde of Richmond, VA; sisters Christina Peltier of Richmond, VA; Autumn Stephenson, Kayla Stephenson both of Orange County, CA; brother Joshua Peltier of Ft. Benning, GA; father and step-mother James D. and Vickie Stephenson of Orange County, CA; maternal grandparents Richard J. and Cecilia G. DeBorde of Savannah; paternal grandparents Jim and Patricia Stephenson of Dallas, TX; uncle and aunt Jeff and Karen Peltier of Clarksville, TN; uncles James R. DeBorde of Savannah; Lee Stephenson of Orange County, CA; aunt Lisa W. DeBorde of Savannah; niece Jenna Peltier of Richmond, VA, cousins Benjamin R. Memorial Mass: 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with The Reverend Patrick O'Brien, Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Narthex of the church prior to the Mass.

Burial: Catholic Cemetery.
